The Robotics Alliance of West Covina is selling HEXBUG Micro Robotic Creatures as a fund raiser for the holiday season. These battery-powered robotic toys avoid obstacles and respond to sounds. We have five different colors available for $10 each.
Update:. Thanks to all those who have supported our HEXBUG fundraiser so far. New HEXBUGS have arrived! Contact robotics team students to purchase.

Unfortunately, last week our team received word that due to budget cuts, our school would be unable to fund expenses for the team this year. This places our team at serious risk of being unable to continue in the FIRST Robotics program. Our team must pay the required registration fee of $6000 by December 5th, 2008 and raise an additional $4000-$5000 by early January to purchase the hardware required to build our robot. We are currently seeking financial assistance in carrying our team’s long history of success into the 2009 competition season. If your company or organization is able to help, please contact team mentor David Black, at davidb@rawc.net.
We appreciate donations of any amount and have the following levels of sponsorship:
Silver Sponsor — $100 and above – Company recognition on team website.
Gold Sponsor — $250 and above – Company logo on team banner displayed at all events.
